Accurate Romanization of the Korean language (한글) is inherently complex due to sound change rules, batchim (받침) consonant assimilations, and tense consonants. At K-Lyrics, our transliterations are guided by the Revised Romanization of Korean (RR)standard established by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Institute of Korean Language.

To make lyrics singable in real time, our editorial pipeline applies rhythmic syllable-by-syllable hyphenation.
